一、 回转研磨法:回转研磨法是在研磨槽内装好工件,研磨石,研磨剂,水给于所定的回转运动,使物质表面产生流动层,进行光饰的加工方法。这种研磨法比较适合于中小零件以及多品种小批量工件研磨
 
  二、 振动研磨法:振动研磨法是在研磨槽内装好工件,研磨石,研磨剂,水给于振动,利用因振动而产生的研磨石和工件之间的相对运动差,进行研磨的加工方法。排除了回转式研磨机产生的净空间,发挥了100%的研磨槽内溶剂。这种研磨方法比回转研磨机工效提高3~5倍,而且被加工的工件无打痕,变形等现象。是目前被广泛采用的研磨方法。
 
  三、 离心研磨法:普通的回转式研磨机高速回转时其物质(混合物)会围着研磨槽周围,工件与研磨石无相对运动,故无相对运动差,研磨作用就会大大的减弱。而离心研磨法在回转头圆盘的回转轴上等距离的装上几个研磨槽,进行行星旋转运动,给予离心力,物质就会因离心作用围着在槽壁的回转外圆一侧,回转外盘圆旋转研磨一次,研磨槽逆转一次,物质往研磨槽内空间与上层部分接触的回转方向移动。物质因离心力的压力和强制流动速度,使物质中的游离研磨石与工件产生流动,因流动产生相对运动差,由于相对运动差的存在,因而产生研磨作用。回转速度在140~180r/min,与回转数成正比例的相对运动差以及离心力会增加。其研磨作用超过回转式研磨机的60倍,是振动研磨机的5~8倍。离心研磨机的研磨能力非常良好,显示很大的研磨力。较多的应用在钟表、电子、电气零部件等精密机械的光饰,尤其适合于小型工件的研磨。
 
  四、 水涡流式研磨法:水涡流式研磨法是在安装于垂直或水平面上的圆筒研磨槽内装入研磨石、水、研磨剂,随着研磨槽的回转,研磨石会因离心力而形成细密而具有刚性的研磨层。在研磨层内装入工件,会产生与研磨石相对运动差而形成的高效率的研磨作用。
